Variable Detection Sensing System – VDS: Using a magnetically coupled vibration sensor, VDS generates a signal that is proportional to the movement of the line. Movement is detected in two ways by, Roller wheel (S) or Vibration (V). The level of sensitivity can be set to suit most conditions.
Ultra-Sensitive Vibration Detection The V control overrides the roller settings allowing the VDS to now detect vibration movements. This is perfect when fishing slack lines looking for ‘liners’ or for when fishing very tight lines where a take will often be preceded by one or two bleeps, even before any visible movement is detected.
Vibration to Roller wheel Auto Sensing System, which will switch between the Vibration and Roller wheel detection to ensure you never miss that all-important run.
High Sensitivity Roller Wheel Detection - RWD: Fully variable detection with 8 Sensitivity Levels which is controlled with the ‘S’ Control, this can be set anywhere between its minimum sensitivity setting of 100mm, ideal for flowing water to its maximum setting which will detect line movements as little as 2mm making it ideal for shy or wary feeding fish. Expandable to 16 Levels via the HUBB Link giving a setting of up- to 300mm. 2mm, 6mm, 12mm, 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 60mm, 100mm *Additional HUBB Settings 4mm, 8mm, 16mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 80mm & 300mm.Drop-back Differentiation: During a dropback detection, a two tone signal is triggered and the LED’s flash. Recoil Elimination; The Bite Alarm includes Recoil Elimination. The alarm will only sound if line moves the distance set by the sensitivity dial in one direction only. If it moves forward and then drops back immediately as in windy conditions, the alarm won’t sound. For a given distance of line travel 4mm extra in the opposite distance is needed before an alert is triggered.

Piezo Speaker: High quality speaker that produces sound over a broader frequency range and with a greater output in the low range. Auto Nightlight – ANL Alternative to betalights, when it gets dark the Light Sensor automatically dims the brightness of the Nightlight. The Nightlight offers a choice of 7 colours plus Off to help you position your rod centrally onto the alarm during night time. Nightlight Level Adjustment:From the main menu of the HUBB the Auto feature can be disabled allowing the Nightlight brightness of the paired alarm to be adjusted as desired.

HUBB/Qr HUBB Link Receives and transmits commands to the HUBB. Pairing Button is for pairing the alarm to the Icon HUBB device. Menu Button: By pressing and holding the menu button the configuration menu can be entered, indicated by a special tone. From this menu the colour and brightness of the LED’s can be changed and the Nightlight colour can also be changed.

On/Off: Via the sensitivity knob, during switch on the battery level indication is shown. During switch Off a dual tone is produced. Will also turn On/Off with Hard Case. Hard Case Provides protection for the alarm and will activate Auto On/Off when removed or fitted. Non-Slip Rubber Grip & Rod Protector: Designed to ensure your rod is held securely in position, it features rubber pads to prevent your rod to slide when fishing with your rods angled downwards. Anti-Theft – Power down Alert to HUBB: When turning off the paired Alarm, a tone is played on the Alarm and HUBB / Qr HUBB for theft prevention. Volume Settings: The volume knob adjusts the volume of the alerts on the Bite Alarm. Can also be adjusted from a paired HUBB. Tone Settings: The tone knob adjusts the pitch of the alerts on the Bite Alarm. Can also be adjusted from a paired HUBB. Low Power Saving Mode Low power saving mode is the default mode out of the box and can be used when the alarm is used as a standalone device (not paired to a HUBB). If the device has been paired to a HUBB. Low Power Saving Mode mode can be re-enabled by a hard reset of the Bite Alarm.
